About

Short version...

Longer version...

Marc Hawes was brought into this world and raised in a sleepy little town in upstate New York. At a young age he took a fondness of the arts. Marc attended the Crane School of Music and received his Bachelors of Arts in Music Education concentration in voice. He professionally taught voice for three years in public schools located around the Hudson Valley, before returning to get his Master in Arts in Acting the British Tradition at the Birmingham School of Acting in Birmingham, UK.

Before receiving his Masters, Marc became the face of the UK's largest van renting company. Having felt as though he had helped rent enough vans in England, Marc returned to the United States ready to work. He went on to be one of the top mentioned actors in that years Drama UK showcases both in New York and Los Angeles

Marc's acting and character types often get compared to that of Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, or Josh Gad. Or as Marc likes to refer to himself as:

"Seth Rogen and Jonah hills love child with a pinch of Josh Gad"

He is almost always cast to play comedic/geek/character roles, and pretty much considers himself to be all these things in real life. Oh how life imitates art… Seriously!

Since relocating to Los Angeles, Marc has booked numerous roles in feature length films, shorts, commercials and anything else you can think of (except porn). You name it, he's probably done it.

Marc recently wrapped on Will Packer and Universal’s feature comedy “Little”, starring Issa Rae, Regina Hall, Marsai Martin which is slated for 2019 release.

Marc has co-written a feature length bro-manitc comedy; Produce This! with his writing partner Kyle Horne. It is currently in pre-production in both China and the US.

Marc also co-wrote and acted in another feature entitled Ava's Impossible Things directed and written by Marina Rice Bader. Ava premièred at HBO's 2016 Outfest and can now been seen on all video streaming platforms.

Marc just created his youtube channel: Hawesomeness where he will start to write and produce sketch comedy.

When Marc isn't doing the art thing, he enjoys spending time with Gabrielle Rossbach (his GF and personal makeup artist), playing video games, hanging out with friends, camping outdoors, telling stories and laughing into the night.
